I am currently the recording engineer for the Univeristy of South Carolina School of Music, where I also teach several courses in audio recording. I grew up in Buffalo, NY and Naples, Fl and earned a Bachelors degree in Music Engineering Technology from the University of Miami. After graduation, I headed back to the NorthEast to work for Sony Music in New York City. For eight years I had the honor of working with world-class artists including Yo-Yo Ma, Wynton Marsalis, Bobby McFerrin, and John Williams. While at Sony I also served as an adjunct Faculty member for the Graduate Sound Recording program at McGill University (Montreal, Canada). It was during this time that I discovered the gift and love I have for teaching. When my first child was born, it was time to leave the hectic pace of NYC, so we headed for USC. In the Fall of 2009, I began the Educational Technology Masters program - one course each semester. |
